In the summer of 2023, Liz and Brandon were introduced by mutual friends (John and Dawn Lenns!) first by way of photographs. At the time, Liz was living in Raleigh and Brandon in Wilmington. The plan was to do a blind double date in Raleigh a month later. Liz being impatient decided to visit the Colner beach house in Surf City in hopes of meeting Brandon before the Raleigh date. They met for coffee at Casa Blanca and talked for hours. Their relationship grew as they traveled between Raleigh and the beach. In the winter of 2024, they made the big decision together that Liz would move to Wilmington.

After gaining approval from their dog Louie, and blessing of Liz's Dad Greg, her twin Brother Matt and his Partner Ryan, Liz and Brandon got engaged in October 2025.

They could not be happier to celebrate their marriage and start the rest of their lives with all of you!
